Vacation PTO

Have it all: Cirrus Medical Staffing travelers who work at least 36 hours per week earn Vacation Pay!

Participation is a snap: as an employee of Cirrus Medical Staffing, you’re automatically enrolled.

Travelers who work with no break-in-service within a specified time frame will received Paid Time Off (PTO).  PTO is paid at the traveler's average taxable base hourly pay rate.  It does not include overtime or any special forms of compensation such as incentives, per diem, housing allowances/stipends, value of Cirrus paid housing, Cirrus Medical benefits or shift differentials.

PTO will be paid once the following milestones are reached:

Hours Worked*                   PTO Days Accrued

After 500 hours worked        1 PTO Day

After 1000 hours worked      1 PTO Day

After 1500 hours worked      1 PTO Day

After 2000 hours worked      2 PTO Days

A maximum of 5 PTO days may be earned per calendar year.

(* Hours worked without a break in service. Additional requirements apply.   Refer to the CMS PTO Policy for full details.)

It’s just like receiving a cash bonus!  You can request it even if you don’t take the time off.

There are requirements, however: Not all employees want to work full time. You need to work your contracted hours, every assignment.  If you work fewer hours than these, you will not reach the Vacation or PTO milestones.

Other options: Some travelers prefer more time off and a lighter schedule, and may not earn Vacation or PTO. That’s ok; There are several other ways of earning bonuses, such as Referral Bonus, Buddy Bonus, New Hire Paperwork, Loyalty Bonus and Yearly Credentialing Bonus, to name a few.
