Name: Stephanie P.
State: Virginia
Job Title: RN, Critical Care
AHHH...it's almost summer and there's no better time to be at the beach! Just ask Stephanie P., Cardiac Care RN, who we classify as a "guru". Yes, Guru!
Stephanie has been a nurse for six years and her specialty is Critical Care, though she LOVES working with Cardiac patients (and she's great at it, too)! She's traveled for two years and has been with Cirrus for one year now. She has traveled to TN, VA and NC. She states that every assignment she's been on carries great memories. She's met so many new people, both travelers and full time employees, that her address book is officially "full". Stephanie travels with her best friend, Annette. Once, before an assignment, they both went to take the usual drug test and Stephanie "accurately" directed Annette, at the wheel, to a dairy barn at the end of a gravel road instead of the drug testing facility. Fortunately, someone there pointed them in the right direction. Are these a pair of traveling "nuts" or what? They still laugh about it (and we do too - you've GOT to LOVE these two!!!). We asked Stephanie what she likes best about being a traveler. She said that opposed to vacation, where you spend a week without getting to know the area, this venue gives you the time to learn the area, the people and the great things about each place that you visit. The exploration is exciting and there are so many terrific "well hidden secrets" out there." She likes being a Cirrus traveler because she believes that Cirrus stands behind their word and their client facilities are great places to work. Furthermore, she states that her recruiter, Jennifer, is great. "Jennifer always has my best interests at heart. She responds immediately and takes care of issues just as fast. She never acts like she doesn't have time for me. I've met other Cirrus travelers who have Jennifer as their recruiter and they all love her too. That's hard to find anywhere." When Stephanie isn't working, you can find her home with a VERY supportive husband, two daughters and one son. She even has two grandchildren on the way (July and October). She's an avid "scrapbooker", camper and loves to walk on the beach and play in the surf. Sounds like Stephanie's life is absolutely special. Great family, great travel friend and great job. Speaking of great, did we mention that she's a great travel professional? If we didn't, well...SHE IS!!! Stephanie, we appreciate you and your work ethics. We, as well as your patients and their families, thank you for your expertise and character. You do an incredible job and we find you to be an incredible person!
