Don’t be fooled by the calm looking demeanor of this ICU, PACU, and ER professional.  This classic beauty is actually an ADRENALIN JUNKIE who’s getting reading to go skydiving while on her current assignment.

Starla C has been a traveler for one year.  Starla loves being a traveler because you get exposure to other cultures in other hospitals.  She likes the diversity of the ethnicity in patients from location to location.  She also states that it’s amazing to see what different locations have to offer in form of lifestyle and entertainment.  Starla has over five years of experience as an RN and started in the ER.  She eventually trained in the ICU and PACU as well.  She likes being able to rely on all three skill sets because it gives her choices in her assignments and locations based on openings available.  For those considering becoming a travel nurse, Starla offers the following advice, “have a strong support system at home and be open-minded and ready to experience everything (it won’t hurt to get AAA services too – ha).”  Starla has traveled to Seattle, Washington; Santa Barbara, California;  San Diego, California and several locations within NC.
