Rene has traveled with Cirrus Medical Staffing for over one year. She is a CVOR Surgical Technologist and has functioned as a First Assistant in the CVOR as well. She is open to go wherever the wind takes her and always enjoys her stay wherever she lands. According to Rene, “OR work is OR work and it never changes; however, each state has it’s own beauty to enjoy. I want to see the entire country.” Rene’s spirit is that of a true traveler and she serves Cirrus well.

As you can see, Rene is not shy about trying new things. While on an assignment in NC, she had the opportunity to sky dive and just couldn’t say “No”. As you can see, this photograph caught Rene in the act. She was approximately two miles up in the sky when this picture was snapped. Note her expression. When asked how it felt, she replied, “ It’s such a rush. It’s unbelievable. The roar of the wind, the sensation of the fall all comes to an end when you pull the rip cord. It’s as if you come to a stop in mid air and it’s followed by the most peaceful sensation of floating.” She landed without a “hitch”. When asked if she would do it again, she claimed that she always takes advantage of every opportunity regardless if it’s white water rafting in the Penobscot River in Maine, jet skiing in Ft. Myers, FL, chasing seahorses in Puerto Rico or attending local events such as the Medieval Fair in Muskogee, OK, she’s up for the experience.
